The 61st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC 2022) will be hosted at the twin Marriot Cancun Resort and JW Marriott Cancun Resort and Spa hotels in Cancun, Mexico, from December 6 through December 9, 2022. Pre-conference workshops will take place on December 5 at the same venue.

The IEEE CDC is recognized as the premier scientific and engineering conference dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practice of systems and control. The CDC annually brings together an international community of researchers and practitioners in the field of automatic control to discuss new research results, perspectives on future developments, and innovative applications relevant to decision making, automatic control, and related areas. The IEEE CDC is hosted by the IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS) in cooperation with the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), and the Japanese Society for Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE)..

CDC 2022 will feature contributed and invited papers, as well as workshops, tutorial and special sessions. CDC 2022 is committed to being not only the premier venue for the dissemination of work in automatic control and systems theory, but to also providing an environment that is inclusive and supportive to our members. We are aiming to make CDC 2022 a model for other IEEE Societies in diversity, equity and inclusion, and to create a forum where we broadly reach out to elicit the best scholarship, innovation, and breadth of ideas that our community has to offer.
